Lt General (R) Tariq Khan rescues himself from heading inquiry commission after a phone call, reveals top journalist

As per the media reports Lieutenant General Tariq khan has refused to headthe inquiry commission over the foreign conspiracy due some personalreasons.

Leading journalist Arshad Sharif has claimed citing his close familysources that General Sb got a call from some quarters and insisted that heshould not accept this responsibility.

The Federal Cabinet has decided to constitute a commission to investigatethe foreign conspiracy regarding regime-change in Pakistan.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said thiswhile briefing media in Islamabad on Friday afternoon about the decisionstaken by the Federal Cabinet, which met in Islamabad today with PrimeMinister Imran Khan in the chair.

Chaudhry Fawad said the commission to be headed by Lt. General retiredTariq Khan will be mandated to investigate threats of regime change inPakistan from some foreign countries.

He said the commission will also investigate the local handlers of thisconspiracy.

He said all the material concerning the foreign conspiracy will be placedbefore all the members of the National Assembly.

Talking about Supreme Court’s decision of setting aside Deputy Speaker’sruling in the no-confidence resolution against the Prime Minister, ChaudhryFawad said the government is considering filing a review petition andavailing other legal options in this regard.
