ISLAMABAD – Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja told theSupreme Court that four months are required for the delimitations ofconstituencies and 90 days for the elections.
Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial questioned the CEC whether the ECP wants todo delimitations across the country. The CEC replied that the ECP wants todo delimitations across the country.
He said that the ECP had written 16 letters to the government fordelimitations, but nothing could be done in this regard. “Seats havereduced after the merger of the FATA,” he told court.
