PCB Chairman to plead Pakistan case for Asian Emerging Nations Cup hosting rights

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Cricket Board Chairperson Najam Sethi will take partin the Asian Cricket Council meeting to discuss the hosting rights of AsianEmerging Nations Cup.

The meeting will be held from 22 of this month at Kolkata.

PCB Chairman Najam Sethi is confident to publicize Pakistan’s campaign forbringing back international cricket to the country on the sidelines of themeeting.

He will meet with several officials of the different cricket playingnations to advocate Pakistan’s point of view of having internationalcricket in the country.

While talking to APP, PCB Chairman said that international cricket haseventually returned to Pakistan and now the eyes are set to motivate moreinternational cricket teams to visit Pakistan in near future.

He said the board has done everything for the revival of country’s cricketand to re-established its image of a respected cricket playing nation.

Najam Sethi expressed his delight that after Lahore now Karachi hasre-established the status of a safe city to organise international cricketties.

He said the PCB is trying hard to bring back other major cities in the netfor staging matches of the next edition of the PSL and that day is not farwhen whole of the PSL will be played across the country.

Najam Sethi lauded the role of ICC for lending hand to Pakistan for therevival of international cricket and praised the role of Director ICCGiles Clarke for his tremendous efforts for supplementing the efforts ofPCB for resumption of international cricket in the country.
