ISLAMABAD – The government on Thursday issued the notification for theextension in the tenure of accountability court judge Muhammad Bashir foranother three years.

Justice Muhammad Bashir was hearing corruption references against Shariffamily filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in line with theSupreme Court directive in the Panamagate case.

According to the notification, he will continue serving as theaccountability judge for another three years after President MamnoonHussain approved extension in his tenure.
