NEW DELHI – Suggesting that Muslims should go to either Pakistan orBangladesh, BJP MP Vinay Katiyar said that Muslims shouldn’t be living inthis country.

Katiyar was replying to Asaduddin Owaisi’s demand to punish people who callIndian Muslims Pakistanis. Owaisi suggested that these people should beawarded a three-year jail term.

“There should be a bill that punishes those who do not respect VandeMatram, those who insult the national flag… those who hoist the Pakistaniflag, they should be punished,” ANI quoted BJP MP Vinay Katiyar as saying.

Adding to his comments, Vinay Katiyar said that Muslims should not beliving in India.

“Doosri baat ye hai, Musalman iss desh mein rehna hi nahi chahye, unhonejansankhya ke aadhaar par desh ka batwara kardia toh iss desh mein rehne kikya avashyakta thi? Unko alag bhu-bhaag de dia gaya, Bangladesh ya Pakistanjaayen yahan kya kaam hai unka? (Secondly, Muslims should not be living inthis country, they’ve been given another nation on the basis of populationso what is the need for them to live here? They’ve been given another pieceof land, Bangladesh or Pakistan, then what are they doing here),” he said.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi today demanded that the government shouldbring in a law to punish anyone who calls an Indian Muslim “Pakistani”.
