ISLAMABAD – Eminent analysts say the United States cannot survive inAfghanistan without Pakistan`s cooperation.
Talking to News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan on Monday,international relations expert Dr Amna Mahmood said the recent statement byUS defence secretary reveals that officials within US administration arestill looking forward for coordination and cooperation with Pakistan.
Replying to a question about the article appearing in New York Timescriticizing the US decision, Dr Amna said the paper has taken a realisticview as there is no doubt that if Pakistan stops its logistic support theUS will be unable to operate in Afghanistan.
Expressing his views senior defence analyst retired Brigadier Sayed Nazeersaid it is Pakistan which has not only suffered most from terrorism butalso stands out victorious in eliminating the menace from its soil.
