The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) on Wednesday issued a show cause notice to the network as in its TV show the host, Hamza Ali Abbasi, allegedly passing derogatory comments about the Pakistani passport.
The Pemra statement reads: “Airing of such comments amounts to spread of hatred and promotes anti-Pakistan sentiments.”
The authority has directed the management to furnish a reply within a seven-day period.
