Chairman of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maulana Fazl ur Rahman, addressing the gathering, said, "It is essential that the one I fight against is also free to fight me."He made this statement on PTI Chairman Imran Khan's current condition as he is held captive in Adiala Jail.
According to details, during his address at a social media convention in Peshawar, Maulana Fazlur Rahman said, "My party has brought together all political parties in the country on one platform, creating an atmosphere of unity." Pakistan faces both internal and external threats.
As time passes, our problems are becoming more serious. We had predicted the issues 12 years ago." He said, "In the past four years, the foundation of the country's economy has been destroyed. I have said in gatherings that the economy will deteriorate to the point where it will be difficult to recover."
He said, "Our youth and the new generation are well aware of social media. At this time, we need to seriously consider what our problems are. Pakistan is facing both internal and external challenges, and as issues persist, they become more serious. We need to think as a nation."
He said, "Our history shows that even though the people may not have been against the British government, they accepted British rule when it was established. Are the important people in our political parties the ones who are subservient to the British?
We are opposed to British servitude now and will continue to be in the future." He added, "Whether it's a big politician or someone else, it's nothing extraordinary to have them apprehended by the law. People have attacked state institutions, and we have seen internal differences instead of individuals.
The structure of the country is collapsing, whether it's the establishment or the bureaucracy, people's trust in them is waning." He further said, "The country is facing anarchy due to those who want to destroy it. Electricity is produced in Pakistan, but we get it at an expensive rate. I am not advocating for delayed elections; I am pointing out the wrong policies of the government.
People in Gilgit-Baltistan understand that Islamabad is sowing discord among us. Political parties are focused on elections, and the state is sinking." He also mentioned, "Foreign countries are not sending money."
