BANNU: A Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader was gunned down over “personal enmity” in Lakki Marwat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) on Friday night.
Malik Hukmat Khan Wazir, a close aide of K-P Chief Minister’s Adviser Muhammad Wazir, was shot dead in the jurisdiction of the Lakki Marwat police station.
Hukmat was targeted while he was returning home after attending a congregation.
According to police, he had a land dispute with his relative that had intensified during the last two days.
The police have registered a case and are probing into the murder.
