*ISLAMABAD - Pakistan will present resolutions on regional disarmament and conventional arms control in the First Committee of the United Nations which deals with disarmament and international security.*
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN in New York Dr Maleeha Lodhi in a tweet said three resolutions will be moved on regional disarmament, conventional arms control at regional and sub-regional level as well as confidence building measures in regional and sub-regional context.
She said earlier last week Pakistan’s resolution on assuring non-nuclear weapon states against the use or threat of use of nuclear weapons was adopted by a solid majority votes 122 is a testimony to Pakistan’s commitment to promoting global security.
