Nisar Khuhro demands fresh elections
LARKANA: PPP Sindh Chief Nisar Ahmed Khuhro has demanded fresh elections in the country because PTI’s government has failed to give any relief to the masses. He was addressing press conference at Larkana Press Club here on Monday.
He said the only solution to the problems is fresh, fair and transparent elections in the country so that people could be able to elect new democratic government.
He said government of Firoun has been established in Pakistan by those who were giving concept of establishing state like Madina which has pushed the people into the tsunami of price hike and has also snatched their right to live.
Khuhro declared to come out on roads against price hike and for resolving peoples’ issues. Khuhro rejected the increase in POL prices saying that in international market petroleum prices are reduced but by increasing taxes government is hiding its failed economic policies and taking revenge from the masses.
Khuhro said instead of eliminating poverty government is trying to wiping out poor so that people could be forced to commit suicides. He said no change will take place by replacing finance minister, FBR chairman and Governor State Bank. He said those who brought prime minister should now show him the door in the interest of the country.
He condemned the act of shifting PIA head office from Karachi to Islamabad and demanded withdrawal of the decision. He said over 4000 people have been screened in Ratodero out of which 160 have been detected HIV positive.
He said according to one report large number of AIDS cases are in Lahore therefore screening should be conducted across the country. He said AIDS is the issue of the entire country then why prime minister Imran is silent on this vital issue.
