ISLAMABAD - Former all-rounder Shahid Afridi’s book ‘Game Changer’ continues to be in the headlines as left-hand opener Imran Farhat has rejected Afridi’s claims in the book and has blamed the all-rounder for ruining other people’s career for his own selfish cause.
Farhat took to Twitter to express his outrage over Afridi’s book and claimed that the all-rounder was responsible for creating problems for everyone in the team, which is why then Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ijaz Butt wanted to drop him from the team.
Left-hand opener further added that Afridi used to blackmail the PCB with matters relating to sponsorship.
The 36-year-old also took a dig at Afridi’s age fudging and used it to support his argument regarding the all-rounder’s dishonesty.
Imran Farhat finally urged other cricketers, named in the book, to come forward and expose the all-rounder’s alleged selfish behaviour throughout his career.
