Resolution of Kashmir dispute imperative for regional peace: Masood

ISLAMABAD: AJK President Sardar Masood Khan has said that resolution of Kashmir dispute is imperative for the regional peace.

He said this while addressing inaugural session of a two-day seminar organized by Kashmir Institute of International Relations in Islamabad today (Sunday).

The President said Kashmir dispute is not a bilateral issue and we need sensitize the international community to help resolve this dispute.

Sardar Masood Khan said Kashmiris are not terrorists but victims of Indian state terrorism.

Speaking on the occasion, PML-N Leader Raja Zafar ul Haq said hearts of Kashmiris beat with Pakistan and India cannot suppress Kashmiris in their struggle for right to self determination.

Meanwhile, Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan says India has crossed all limits of barbarism and termed the recent wave of state terrorism a well thought-out strategy.

In a condemnation message issued in Muzaffarabad today (Sunday), he paid great homage to the Kashmiri martyrs and said their matchless sacrifices will never go in waste.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that latest state terrorism uncovered the ugly face of so called greater democratic and secular state.

He demanded the United Nations to take immediate notice of the Indian brutalities and deplored the silence of international community over these war crimes of Indian troops.

He said government and people of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan will always back the Kashmiris in their democratic right to self-determination. APP/AFP
