ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Umpire Aleem Dar has become the 3rd ICC Umpire to complete the century of test matches. He also has become the 1st Asian umpire who has completed century of test matches.
As per details, pakistan umpire Aleem Dar will become only the third member of the Elite panel of ICC Umpires to reach the 100-Test mark when he officiates in the second Test between England South Africa on January 02, 2016 at Newlands.
He has rendered his services as umpire in 100 test matches, 178 one day matches and 35 T20 matches. Aleem also has been awarded the biggest civilian award “pride of performance” in 2011. He was conferred Sitar e Imtiaz in 2013.
Speaking ahead of the feat, Aleem said that he was delighted and proud to reach this significant milestone in his career. “I am extremely grateful for all the support that I have received throughout the years, not just from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), but also from the International Cricket Council (ICC).”
