ISLAMABAD: Black Berry Limited has announced to continue its services in Pakistan as the government dropped a request for the access to users’ data.
Black Berry Company also had to face the similar problem in India, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia regarding its secure communication services.
Last month, the official of company said in his statement that company would shut its service in Pakistan till 31 December because PTA demanded to access users’ data but company refused to give access to users’ data.
“We are grateful to the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and the Pakistani government for accepting BlackBerry‘s position that we cannot provide the content of our customers’ BES traffic, nor will we provide access to our BES servers,” the chief operating officer said.
