Gilani, other Hurriyat leaders express gratitude to Pakistan

In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and other Hurriyat leaders have expressed gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for their unwavering and vigorous support to the Kashmiris in their just struggle for securing their right to self-determination.

Syed Ali Gilani in his message said, people in Jammu and Kashmir are challenging a big power and Pakistan acknowledging their right to self-determination extends its persistent support to them.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in his message said that Pakistan being one of the main parties to Kashmir dispute has always played a frontal role at both regional and international level in highlighting the sufferings of Kashmiris and violation of their basic rights by Indian troops.

Other Hurriyat leaders including Ghulam Muhammad Khan Sopori, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Bilal Siddiqi, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, Zafar Akbar Butt, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Imtiaz Reshi, Muhammad Shafi Lone, Abdul Aziz Dar, Ghulam Nabi Wasim, Ghulam Nabi War and the Chairman of United Jihad Council, Syed Salahuddin in their statements said that Pakistan’s continued support for the Kashmir cause has always been a source of encouragement for the Kashmiris.

On the other hand, Indian police and troops in their fresh crackdown arrested eleven youth from Pulwama and Baramulla districts.
