LAHORE - The Lahore High Court will hear Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz's plea seeking removal of name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
A two-member bench of the court, headed by Justice Baqir Najfi, will take up the plea on Monday, December 9.
Maryam Nawaz's lawyer Advocate Amjad Pervez filed petition in the court.
The Interior Ministry, FIA, Chairman NAB and DG NAB were made respondants in the petition.
Maryam Nawaz in her petition stated that her name was placed on the ECL without hearing her stance.
"The move of placing name on the Exict Control List was illegal", she added.
She pleaded that she should be allowed to travel abroad until final decision.
Maryam requested the court to nullify the move to place her name on ECL declaring it illegal and void.
