Ghulam Sarwar stresses for early completion of TAPI Gas Pipeline project

Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Ghulam Sarwar Khan has stressed for early completion of Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Indian (TAPI) Gas Pipeline project.
He was talking to Chief Executive Officer of TAPI Pipeline Company Muhammetmyrat Amanov who called on him in Islamabad on Friday.
The federal minister said Pakistan desires to hold a ceremony in connection with TAPI in March. The heads of Turkmenistan, India, Pakistan and India will be invited to attend the event.
He said the gas pipeline project of 1680 kilometer length has a gas volume of 3.2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day. He said the cost of the project is eight point five billion dollars which can be further reduced. He said Pakistan's share in the project is five percent.
