Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurates 7 Mega Projects in Karachi

Karachi: Chairperson Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto hasinaugurated seven mega projects in Karachi.

These projects include Shaheed Millat Underpass, Begum Rana Liaqat Ali KhanFlyover, Korangi and Stadium Roads, Tipu Sultan Road, Submarine underpassand Sunset Flyover.

While addressing the Inauguration Ceremony of these seven mega-projects inKarachi, the chairperson PPP said that these mega projects gave employmentto the labor class.

“At time when federal government is shutting down mega projects, we haveinaugurated seven of them. These seven projects are highly important forthe development of Karachi,” he said.

Criticizing the Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said that PM has ruined theeconomy

“The federal government is not providing resources to the provinces. Thebusinessmen and bureaucracy is unable to work due to NAB. There is noemployment the country and there is inflation everywhere. The small tradersare suffering from taxes,” he added.

The inauguration of projects has come a day after Prime Minister Imran Khanwhile chairing a meeting on Sindh’s problems said that the province hasbeen inundated with corruption and now there is “urgent need” foraccountability.

During the meeting, which was attended by Firdous Shamim Naqvi, KhurramSherzaman, Haleem Adil Sheikh and 25 leaders from the Muttahida QoumiMovement (MQM), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Grand DemocraticAlliance (GDA), the Prime Minister was given a report on Sindh by theAuditor General upon which Imran Khan expressed anger about Chief MinisterMurad Ali Shah.

The members present at the meeting also expressed anger at the CM, claimingthat he was an impediment to progress. Some members said that they werevoted in for change but Sindh is showing no signs of change.
