SRINAGAR – Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front held candlelight protests inSrinagar and Budgam against the gross human rights violations by Indiantroops in the territory.
In a statement in Srinagar, a JKLF spokesman said in connection with theongoing Human Rights Week a number of candle light protests are being heldin different areas of the Kashmir Valley.
The spokesman said despite heavy restrictions, JKLF leaders and activistsheld candlelight protests to draw attention of the world towards the Indianatrocities in the occupied territory.
