In a positive development, PTI government makes neglected CPEC western route a new reality

ISLAMABAD – Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) of Pakistanlink and Chinalink meeting has givengreen signal to several roadlink infrastructureprojects under the China Pakistan Economic Corridorlink( CPEClink).

Due the the efforts of Ministry of Communications,Western Route of the CPEClinkhasbecome a reality, said a press release issued here Wednesday.

The JCC gave approval to DI Khan- Zhoblink Highway whereas Swatlink Motorwaylink wasincluded in the CPEClink.Kohat- DI Khanlink Motorwaylink andChitral- Gilgit-Baltistan roadlink have also beenincluded in the CPEClink.

The meeting also gave approval of inclusion of Nokundi- Turbatlink roadlink and Mirpur-Muzaffarabad- Mansehralink Motorwaylink aspart of CPEClink.
