*ISLAMABAD – Pakistan will present resolutions on regional disarmament andconventional arms control in the First Committee of the United Nationswhich deals with disarmament and international security.*

Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN in New York Dr Maleeha Lodhiin a tweet said three resolutions will be moved on regional disarmament,conventional arms control at regional and sub-regional level as well asconfidence building measures in regional and sub-regional context.

She said earlier last week Pakistan’s resolution on assuring non-nuclearweapon states against the use or threat of use of nuclear weapons wasadopted by a solid majority votes 122 is a testimony to Pakistan’scommitment to promoting global security.
