Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said Pakistan and the US have agreed to focus on improving bilateral ties.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, he expressed satisfaction over talks between the two sides during recent visit by US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Alice Wells.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said although Afghanistan still remains a major issue, the focus between Pakistan and the US is gradually returning to bilateral aspects of the relationship.
The foreign minister said the US side has also offered to play a positive role on Pak-Afghan water issue.

He said the recent negotiations held in Beijing between Prime Minister Imran Khan the Chinese top leadership will also help the country double its exports to China.
