According to details, government vehicle number GSD 767 was apprehendedwhile smuggling prohibited items. The government vehicle was being misusedfor personal gain. Officials of the municipal department revealed that thegovernment vehicle was under the control of Abdul Kareem, a Grade 16officer.”
“Abdul Kareem is currently appointed as a taxation officer in the ThattaDistrict Council. The government vehicle has been impounded, and a FirstInformation Report (FIR) has been registered against the officer, leadingto his suspension. In this regard, the Additional Secretary of themunicipal department has been instructed to conduct an investigation andsubmit a report.”
