A small aircraft crashed in a remote area of New South Wales, Australia,resulting in the tragic deaths of the male pilot and three children whowere passengers, as reported by the police on Friday.

The plane crashed and subsequently ignited, prompting a response frompolice and rescue teams who arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire.Unfortunately, the five-seater Cirrus aircraft was completely destroyed.

According to a statement from the police, the plane had departed fromCanberra Airport around 2:30 pm and was en route to Armidale.
