LAHORE – Anti encroachment operation in Lahore division has turned out tobe a big success for the authorities as land worth billions of rupees hasbeen retrieved in few days of operation.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar on Sunday has chaired a highlevel meeting in Lahore to review the progress on the ongoing crackdownagainst encroachment and land grabbers.
The Chief Minister has been briefed in the meeting that 250 acre of landworth RS 7 billion has been retrieved in the four districts of the Lahoredivision.
The Punjab CM expressed his satisfaction over the so-far progress on theanti-encroachment drive and praised the performance of the staff.
Addressing the meeting, he said that retrieval of 250 acre of land worthbillions of rupees within just couple of days was the result of excellentcoordination and team work of the concerned departments.
