Mohsin Dawar, the leader of the National Democratic Movement and formerchairman of the Foreign Affairs Standing Committee, has made somenoteworthy claims regarding the investigation into the murder of ARY Newsanchorperson and esteemed journalist, Arshad Sharif.

It’s particularly concerning thatcommittee meetings were convened three times, only to be adjournedprematurely each time.

Dawar further disclosed that during one of these meetings, the head of theJoint Investigation Team (JIT) refused to provide the committee withinformation regarding Arshad Sharif’s murder, insisting on the presence ofother JIT members.

Additionally, the foreign minister seemed to wash his hands of the matter, declaring it to fall under the jurisdiction of the interior ministry. Theserevelations raise significant questions about the transparency and progressof the investigation.
