ISLAMABAD – Minister for Finance, Asad Umar on Friday has hinted atreducing the Fertilizers prices for the farmers.
He said that the availability of fertilizer to the farmers on affordablerates was priority of the government and all necessary measures would betaken to that end.
He was chairing a meeting here along with Advisor to Prime Minister onCommerce, and Industry Abdul Razak Dawood on the issue relating tofertilizer production and its continued availability in the market insufficient quantities.

The representatives of the fertilizer industry briefed the Minister on theproduction capacity of the fertilizer units and made the proposals forensuring smooth supply in the market.
