PM Imran Khan held important telephonic call with Saudi Crown Prince MBS over Occupied Kashmir scenario

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan held important telephonic call withSaudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman over Occupied Kashmir scenario.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday morning contacted Saudi Crown PrinceMohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz to discuss latest developments in theOccupied Jammu and Kashmir with him.

According to Saudi News Agency, both the leaders discussed the developmentof the situation in the region and efforts exerted towards it.

On Monday, Khan had talked about the prevailing situation in India OccupiedKashmir over the phone.

During the conversation, PM Khan regretted doing away with Kashmir’sspecial status is a breach of international conventions and will play havocwith regional peace.

Later that day, he called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, whoexpressed deep concern over the deteriorating situation in the occupiedKashmir.

PM Khan told the Turkish leader that Pakistan would continue it’sdiplomatic, moral and political support to the cause of Kashmiri strugglefor their right to self-determination, as enshrined in the United NationsSecurity Council resolutions.

The contact between the two leaders comes in the backdrop of worseningsituation in the Held Jammu and Kashmir, where the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) led government in Centre has scrapped Article 370 and Article 35A inJammu and Kashmir, while also bifurcating the state into union territoriesof Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh in clear violation of the UNresolutions on Kashmir.
