ISLAMABAD Despite unprecedented security arrangements in the federalcapital, a number of banners supporting India’s Kashmir decision appearedsurreptitiously on different roads on Tuesday.
The district administration took notice of the matter after pictures andvideos of such banners surfaced on social media.
But the district administration and Directorate of Municipal Administration(DMA), which come under the administrative control of MetropolitanCorporation Islamabad (MCI), are yet to reach any conclusion in this regard.
Chief Commissioner Islamabad Aamir Ali Ahmed directed inspector general ofpolice (IGP) to register a case against the people who are involved in it.He also directed police to identify the elements who put up the bannersdespite presence of cameras.

The IGP asked police to include officials of DMA in the investigation.Under the municipal laws, permission of DMA is necessary for display ofbanners in the city.
