*ISLAMABAD: **Important decisions being taken in Pakistan National securityCommittee emergency session in Islamabad today.*
*The National Security Committee (NSC) meeting is underway to discuss thedeteriorated situation of the Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK).*
The meeting is being chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Pakistan’s topcivil and military leadership is meeting in Islamabad for the second timein a week to discuss the prevailing situation in occupied Kashmir.
The NSC is expected to take important decisions in today’s meeting.
The decision to review diplomatic relations with India is on the cards,while the committee is also expected to take the decision of closing WagahBorder.
Amid increasing tensions with India, the decision to increase deployment ofthe Pakistan Army personnel along the Line of Control (LoC) is alsoexpected to be taken.
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s contacts with the world leaders would also bediscussed in the meeting, said the sources.
Earlier on August 4, a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC),chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, had decided to give a befittingresponse to any Indian aggression across the line of control.
According to a declaration issued by the PM House, the NSC meeting hadcondemned the India aggression and use of cluster bomb on civilianpopulation along the line of control (LoC),
