The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman has approached the Lahore HighCourt once again to avoid possible arrest, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
The PTI chief filed the petition in the court of Justice Muhammad AmjadRafique through his lawyers Sardar Latif Khosa and Intizar.
The Punjab government and the provincial police chief have been madeparties in the petition.
The petitioner made a request for consolidating all the cases filed acrossPunjab and seeking a stay order on the arrest till final decision.
The court overruled the objection to the non-maintainability and directedthe lawyers of the parties to present arguments.
Additional Advocate General Ghulam Sarwar Nahang appeared on behalf of thePunjab Government –
Imran Khan was arrested from Islam High Court and the arrest was declaredillegal by the Supreme Court, the court was told. Sardar Latif Khosa saidthe PTI was being crashed by concocted a plot.
He added more than 185 FIRs have been registered in 109 police stationsagainst the PTI chairman and it is impossible for the petitioner to appearin so many FIRs and inquiries simultaneously.
