According to the sources of Civil Aviation Authority, after the takeoff of PIA flight PK504 from Gwadar to Karachi this afternoon, whenthe ground staff inspected the runway, the tire fragments of the planeon the runway of Gwadar Airport were found.
On the information of Gwadar Airport officials, Karachi Control Towerinformed the captain of the plane about the situation.
Meanwhile, an emergency was declared at Karachi Airport, however,PIA’s ATR 72 aircraft landed safely at Karachi’s Jinnah InternationalAirport.
