Khyber Pakthunkhwa Government has proposed 40 billion rupees developmentpackage for exploration of oil and gas activities in merged tribaldistricts in upcoming budget 2021-22.
Talking to APP, Senior Planning Officer, KP Energy and Power DepartmentEngineer Muhammad Luqman, said today (Monday), KP is producing 52 percentof crude oil, 11 percent of gas and 40 percent of Liquefied Petroleum Gas(LPG) of the country from just two-exploration blocks.
He said the development package has been exclusively prepared to increaseits production through exploring of new oil and gas reservoirs in seventribal districts
