TEHRAN – George Nader, a Lebanese-American businessman and lobbyist whoserves as an adviser to the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, has been arrestedfor possessing child pornography, the US Department of Justice announced.
Nader was arrested at John F Kennedy International Airport in New York Cityon Monday on charges of “transporting visual depictions of minors engagedin sexually explicit conduct”, the department said, according to presstv.
The arrest was based on a 13-month-old sealed indictment that said Naderhad sexually explicit pictures of children on his mobile phone when heentered the United States on a previous trip in January 2018.

Nader, who has a history of child pornography cases stretching back to the1980s, faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 40 years.
