In occupied Kashmir, Kashmir and Palestine Day to be observed tomorrow

SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir, Kashmir and Palestine Day will be observed,on Friday, to impress upon the United Nations and international communityto fulfill their commitment to resolve the two disputes in accordance withthe relevant resolutions of the World Body.

Call for observance of the day has been given by the Joint ResistanceLeadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and MuhammadYasin Malik.

A resolution calling for an end to military occupations in Kashmir andPalestine will be presented in all mosques, shrines and imambargahs acrossthe territory.

The resolution will urge the world community to take serious notice of therule of oppression and suppression and gross human rights violationsperpetrated by the Indian and Israeli occupation forces in Kashmir andPalestine.

The Joint Resistance Leadership in its statement in Srinagar said theprevailing state of absolute lawlessness in Kashmir has rendered the civilliberty, honour and dignity of the general public highly vulnerable.

It deplored that the people were being killed, maimed and detained onfabricated grounds.

Meanwhile, Azad Jammu and Kashmir government has also announced to observeJumma tul Wida as Youm-ul-Qudds and Youm-e-Kashmir.

The decision has been taken by AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khanon the call of Joint resistance leadership in Occupied Kashmir.

The AJK Prime Minister has asked Ulema to highlight their sermons theatrocities in Occupied Kashmir and Palestine.

Special prayers would be offered on the day for liberation of OccupiedKashmir and Palestine.
