Former President Asif Ali Zardari lands in hot waters yet again

ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned formerpresident Asif Ali Zardari in the fake accounts case on May 9.

According to the media reports, the NAB has summoned the former presidentZardari for inquiry after the national anti-corruption watchdog preparedanother reference in the fake accounts case.

According to the details, the Nab has sent the summons to Zardari in theHarish and Company case alleging that Harish and Company had taken acontract for water supply from the Special Initiative Department of Sindbut instead of working on the project the company used the funds to meetNaudero House expenses.

Nab officials stated that the Harish and Company was the front company toPark Lane Estate which led to a loss of Rs60 million to the nationalexchequer.

Former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur are accusedin the fake accounts case and have been granted interim bail till May 9.
