PCB announces T20 world cup squad after the inclusion of opener Ahmad Shehzad

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board has announced Pakistan cricket team squad for T20 world cup and sent the list of players to ICC. It is the third time that PCB announced 15 member national team squad for T20 world cup.

As per details, PCB has announced T20 world cup squad after the inclusion of opener Ahmad Shehzad. Khurram Manzoor has been replaced with Ahmad Shahzad while Iftikhar Ahmad replaced with Khalid Latif in squad.

The other member of the squad includes Shahid Afridi (Captain), Shoaib Malik, Muhammad Hafeez, Omer Akmal, Sharjeel Khan, Muhmmad Nawaz, Ammad Waseem, Anwar Ali, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Muhammad Sami.

On the other hand, a security team consisted of 2 members have arrived in India for reviewing the security arrangements in India. FIA Director Usman Anwar and Security Officer Muhammad Azam are included in security team.

T20 world cup is going to be held in India on 8 March while Pakistan team will play its first match on 16 March.
