SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have slapped draconian law,Public Safety Act (PSA) on former puppet Chief Ministers, Omar Abdullah andMehbooba Mufti.

Under the Public Safety Act, National Conference leader, Omar Abdullah andPeoples Democratic Party leader, Mehbooba Mufti, can be jailed for 3 monthswithout trial.

Indian authorities arrested Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah as theirsix-month-old detention ended yesterday. Controversial law Public SafetyAct (PSA) allows authorities to imprison someone for up to two yearswithout trial.
