LAHORE – Former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar filed her nominationpapers for the Senate elections on Wednesday.

Three candidates each of the PML-N and the PPP and a PML-Q candidatesubmitted their nomination papers at the office of Punjab ElectionCommission of Pakistan.

PPP’s Hina Rabbani Khar filed her papers for the seats reserved for women,Nawab Shahzad Ahmed Khan for the general seat and Nawazish Pirzada for thetechnocrat seat.

On the other hand, PML-N’s Usmanzai submitted the papers for the generalseat and Kamran Michael and Ishaq Dar for the technocrat seats, while IshaqDar, Mansha Butt and Ghazali Butt submitted the papers for the generalseats.

Talking to the media outside the Punjab ECP office, PPP candidate NawazishPirzada criticized Ishaq Dar and said that he was unwell, but now he issubmitting the papers for the elections.

The nomination papers can be submitted until Thursday.
