PESHAWAR: The Shaukat Khanam Cancer Hospital and Research Center Peshawar has been inaugurated by a cancer patient.
The Cancer patient Fakhir Afridi inaugurated the hospital along with PTI chairman Imran Khan and many others in attendance.
While Addressing to ceremony PTI Chairman Imran Khan said the establishment of Shaukat Khanam Peshawar was one of the biggest dream of my life.
The Hospital will not only provide state of the Art facilities to residents of KP but also to the people of all over the country.
He said that “nothing is impossible in life when u struggle for something”
He thanked those people who participate to build up this hospital.
PTI chairman said that we face many difficulties for make this hospital, but we struggle hard and we achieved our goal.
He added the chemotherapy faculty was set up in the first phase to treat patients in the initial stages of cancer.
He also said that Rs.4 billion would be needed to complete the second and third phases.
