ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has imported Rs. 1.5 billion tea from India in last 7 months from April to October while Rs. 1 billion tea had been imported by Pakistan from India last year in the same months. (A report stated)
As per details, Pakistan imports Rs. 34 billion tea every year while the price of tea has increased to 370 dollars with the hike of 100 dollars in international markets.
The prize of tea has also has increased in local markets as 900 gram (gm) pack of tea is available in the retail at Rs 820 compared to previous Rs 570.
