KARACHI: Counter Terrorism Department Karachi conducted a raid on tip-off Intelligence Agencies in Interior Sindh and arrested Umer Kathio, the main accused of Safoora carnage.
As per details, the accused Umer Kathio was arrested over the identification of Saad Aziz, another accused of Safoora carnage.
According to CTD officials, Umer remained member of Al-Qaeda and close accomplice of Usama Bin Ladan. Later, he joined ISIS. The accused Umer also established an organized network of terrorists in Sindh in 2011.
CTD officials further claimed that accused Umer has command on Arabic language while he was involved in funding to different terrorists outfits.
He was also facilitator of Safoora carnage while his wife run network of women wing of Daesh.
The accused had been shifted to unknown place for further investigation.
