RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff Gen. Raheel Sharif has approved execution of 9 hardcore terrorist. They have been convicted by military courts over their involvement in several heinous crimes.
As per ISPR statement, “The terrorists are involved in committing heinous offences relating to terrorism, including attack on Parade Lane Mosque, Inter-Services Intelligence Headquarters, Multan, attacks on law enforcement agencies, kidnapping and killing civilians in Lahore,”
According to details, Muhammad Ghori was the activist of TTP and in-charge of their media cell. He was involved in attack on Parade Lane mosque. Abdul Qayum was the activist of Harkat ul Jihad Islam and involved in attack on Inter-Services Intelligence headquarters Multan.
Muhammad Imran had association with TTP and involved in attacks on law enforcement agencies while Abdul Raof, Muhammad Hashim, Salman, Shafqat and Farhan were the activists of Sipah Sahaba and they were found guilty in murders cases.
Their cases were trialed by military courts and they also confessed their crimes. Military courts awarded them death sentence.
