CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah calls on PM Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad to discuss Karachi operation

ISLAMABAD: CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the issue of Rangers powers in Islamabad here on Wednesday. The meeting continued about one and half hour.

As per details, PM Nawaz made it clear that Karachi operation will continue without any compromise and Rangers powers will be maintained at any cost.

During the meeting, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah expressed his concerns over the issue of Rangers powers and informed about the interference of federation in Sindh government’s affairs.

PM Nawaz assured CM Sindh to resolve all the concerns and said that federal government will not take any step against constitution in Sindh.

CM Sindh said that Karachi operation should continue and we have no concern about it but interference should be stopped in provincial affairs.

PM Nawaz further added that Rangers played an important role to establish peace in Karachi that’s why Karachi operation will continue till the elimination of last terrorist.

PM also directed Interior Minister for a meeting with CM Sindh and resolve all the issues with dialogues. Interior Minister Ch. Nisar and Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar were also present in the meeting.
