The recent speculation and reports suggesting that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had implemented a visa ban on residents of certain Pakistani cities prompted a response from UAE authorities. It was reported that visit visas were allegedly not being issued to individuals from cities like Kohat, Abbottabad, Muzaffarabad, Skardu, Larkana, DG Khan, and others. These reports were widely circulated and acknowledged by local travel agents, though no official confirmation was provided.

According to some travel agents, the issuance of visas may have been temporarily suspended for cities where residents were involved in illegal activities or had overstayed their visas. However, it's important to note that these claims lacked substantiation and verification.

In light of these rumors, a Pakistani official in the UAE refuted the reports as groundless. In an interview with a private channel, the official emphasized that there were no impediments for Pakistani nationals applying for visit visas to the UAE.

Furthermore, he clarified that applicants with their documents in order could expect to receive their visas within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 10 to 15 days.
