What advice COAS General Bajwa give to the Pakistani businessmen community?

ISLAMABAD - Senior analyst Imran Yaqub Khan has revealed that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa, told the business leaders that they will have to make a habit of paying tax, because the country's image is becoming better and investment is coming in.

Talking in GNN'S show "Viewpoint", the senior journalist said that the COAS took the business community in confidence and told them that the world would not listen to us in the past. Now our point of view is being attention to, which has made our international image better and has led to foreign investment coming into the country. Now the business community will have to make a habit out of paying tax.

Continuing to give further inside details of the meeting, Imran Yaqub Khan said that the COAS assured the businessmen that their reservations about NAB will be removed. The COAS also told the political team present in the room, to talk to the Prime Minister that NAB should not bother the business community without reason. During the five hour meeting, the COAS addressed the issues raised by the traders and tried to satisfy them.

Senior analyst Zafar Hilaly said that $200 billion of Pakistan's wealth is lying in foreign banks, out of which not even one billion has come back to Pakistan. He said that Imran Khan believes that scaring people and documentation will for e people to give up the money themselves.

He advised the government to not give any amnesty, but ask these people to invest in Pakistan with proof. He also advised the government to set up chemical and petroleum factories in which the government will hold 49% shares with 51% shares given to private investors.
