The United Nations is seeking fifty point five million dollars for immediate relief to help victims of the devastating quake and tsunami in Indonesia.

In a statement the UN Resident Coordinator in Indonesia Anita Nirody said the UN plan is aimed at providing help to 191,000 people over the next three months.

She said more than fifteen-hundred people died in last week's quake-tsunami, while more than one thousand are still missing.
