FAISALABAD: On the special approval of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Breast Clinic costing Rs 60 million at Allied Hospital had been made completely functional.
The state-of-the-art medical facilities would be available for treatment of women suffering breast diseases in the clinic.
This was stated during the visit of Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani while inspecting the clinic set up at upper storey of medical emergency, here Thursday. Medical Superintendent Dr Khuram Altaf, In charge Clinic Dr Farwa, Radiologist Dr Bushra and other doctors were present on the occasion.
Deputy Commissioner said that it was an important facility for women of the Faisalabad and other nearby districts towards diagnosis and treatment whe re free of cost medical checkup, mammography ultrasound, pathological tests etc are available.
In charge Breast clinic Dr Farwa said that facility of medical checkup is being provided to 25 to 30 women daily and mammography facility to 5 to 7 women.
