Pakistan's Aleem Dar all set to make history in the World of Cricket

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's Umpire Aleem Dar all set to make history in the World of Cricket.

Pakistan umpire Aleem Dar will officiate in his 200th One-day International (ODI) match, when West Indies takes on Bangladesh, tomorrow in the ongoing triangular series in Dublin, Ireland.

The 50-year-old umpire, hailing from Jhang, will be the third International Cricket Council (ICC) elite umpire to complete 200 ODI matches.

South Africa’s Rudi Koertzen has officiated in the most number of ODI matches (209), while New Zealand’s Billy Bowden is second on the list with 206 matches.

Aleem Dar became part of the ICC Elite umpires panel in 2004.
